Okay....this is what happened.
My dear friend Sara set up a blog for our kids before we left the States. As I was helping the kids work on their blog here in China,I realized that I would like to have a place where I can express in my own words what our new life is like. In order for me not to take over the kids' blog I needed to set up my own. Now, I still don't have very good computer skills but I'm excited to try this. So thanks alot, Sara, for introducing me to another thing I don't have time for....and I hope all enjoy being a part of the adventures we're having here in China.

Here I sit "down on the farm" writing to two of my friends, one in China and one in Peru! None of us could have imagined what was around the bend of our separate roads! I love your blog heading Adventures with Andra. Your are right, I am so pleased that in a very real sense now you will be journaling! You could still save those journal books I gave you, in case you get the urge to pick up your pen some day though. :)

PS - Jacob's doing better and adjusting. We had a family meeting with our pastor yesterday, and we'll probably continue to meet often.
I agree with Sara, I can hear you speaking the very same words that I am reading! I hope you are all having a blast in China! I love hearing from you and love seeing the pictures of your "new" life in China! Take care of your babies and I will talk to you soon!

Dear Mrs. Adventures with Andra,
I have something I need to tell my youngest sister 'Ruth' but don't know how to approach her. JUST KIDDING!!!!! I miss randomly going to Sara's and skyping with you all.I'm sure Joseph is asking for me. I pray that you are surviving all adjustments. I am heading to Peru in just a few short days and yes I will remember to back my 'Adventure' bottoms.
